Best moment of my life

Hi, I'm Anju Singh from Noida sharing about our honeymoon trip experience at Andaman which we did the last year in 2019. I’m 62 and My husband Mr. Shyam N Singh retired physics teacher get married on July 6th, 1977, yeah it seems funny but our daily routine and challenges never allowed us for this vacation. As like nowadays newly married couples get post-wedding photography or vacation trip from their parents, friends, or relatives, here my angels Aradhana and Anupriya gave us this vacation pass as their father’s retirement gift.

We took a flight from Delhi and it was an almost five-hour flight journey, few minutes before landing I have experienced such a wonderful Ariel view, these islands were totally like a tropical paradise. If you would have asked me what is beautiful? I would say the ariel view of Andaman islands is beautiful, the small islands are beautiful, the blue waters are beautiful, the wet sands are beautiful, the salty breeze is beautiful.

The welcoming was totally perfect by the nature, even I loved the flight turbulence when we were entering the Andaman clouds. After the touchdown and we both stepped on our feet we felt such a positive vibe from the islands.

After the hotel check-in and we had our lunch at ITC bay island hotel which was extraordinary, especially the butter roti, dal tadka, and fish fry simple, delicious, and healthy. Our tour manager explained our trip itinerary and we went to cellular jail and the evening light and sound show. We loved the show and the way our freedom fought and our forefathers fought for our country was explained very well and we didn’t know this much information earlier before. I would really want to contribute myself to take this information’s others.

The next day we went to havelock islands where we met so many north Indian peoples and one restaurant run by a Punjabi person honestly said I never tried sizzlers before but that lemongrass chicken steak sizzler was one of the best foods I ever had in my life. Hotel Sandy waves we were stayed at, a nicely constructed swimming pool, and the beach were connected to the property. On that same day evening, we went to Radhanagar beach I would like to express my feeling via words “I want to walk my whole life with you like this and I believe all my responsibility and duties I followed properly, I don’t mind if this is our last walk or sunset, but this moment is permanent for both of us” This exact same sentence and words I was saying to him, he looked at me and replied I love you and that look reminds me when our first daughter Aradhana called him papa when she was 16 months old.

After that sunset and Radhanagar beach visit it’s hard to believe our life is a materialistic world. Our tour manager Mr. Dinesh came to our hotel and explained the next day's trip itinerary and handed over his phone my second daughter was on the call and she started asking me about the trip and other details and hung up. Mr. Dinesh surprised us mam your daughter arranged a candlelight dinner at a beach restaurant. Our driver dropped us at the restaurant, the table was nicely decorated for us and there was a cute little cake with a mocktail, the dinner was prolonged till 3 hours and we both spend really nice time there. All off a sudden I realized we are still young in our hearts and mind.

The next day we went back to Port Blair and visited ross and the north bay islands, we stayed two more days there it-self, but I would like to thank God for giving me this happiness. Age is not a matter for travelers, I have missed my honeymoon earlier and after 42 years I got a chance for that, so I don’t want to miss my chance this time, so both of us decided let's go for a trip so later we don’t want to get regret. Here now I’m happily sitting back at home and following my responsibility as a wife and a mother still.

These Andaman trip photographs hanging on my wall and my husband using them as phone wallpaper, don’t know how long the photographs going to stick on our home wall. So don’t skip anything in your life and be happy because we are not going to take back anything in life rather than memories so makes it good.
